Service Process

What services are available at the authorized service centers featured on this page?

Available services may vary by brand and model, but can include technical assessment, complete maintenance service, battery replacement, water-resistance testing, bracelet or strap adjustments, refinishing, demagnetization, and other manufacturer-approved interventions.

Can my watch be assessed before I decide to proceed with service?

Yes. Every watch undergoes a technical assessment before any service work is performed. Based on this evaluation, a repair estimate and service recommendations will be provided for your review and approval.

No service work will be carried out without your consent.

Why does my service estimate include mandatory and optional interventions?

Mandatory interventions are required to restore the proper function, reliability, and performance of your watch in accordance with manufacturer standards.

Optional interventions are offered to improve the appearance or condition of your watch and are entirely at your discretion. Declining optional interventions will not affect the completion of the mandatory service.

Will my watch be polished or refinished during service?

Polishing and refinishing are not performed automatically. Such aesthetic services may be offered as part of the service process and always require the client's approval.

Clients may choose to accept or decline polishing or refinishing services. Declining these services will not affect any mandatory interventions required for the proper functioning of the watch.

How long does watch servicing take?

Service turnaround time depends on the watch brand, model, condition, required interventions, and parts availability.

An estimated completion timeline will be provided together with the service estimate following the technical assessment.

Warranty & Service Coverage

Do I need to bring my warranty card?

For many brands, the warranty card is required for warranty verification and service records.

We recommend bringing your warranty card, proof of purchase (if available), and any previous service documentation when submitting your watch.

What is covered under the manufacturer's warranty?

Manufacturer warranties generally cover manufacturing or material defects occurring during the applicable warranty period.

The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse, improper handling, unauthorized repairs, loss, theft, or damage resulting from impacts, water ingress caused by improper use, or other external factors.

Warranty coverage is subject to the terms and conditions established by the watch manufacturer.

Is there a service warranty after my watch has been repaired?

Authorized service work is covered by the applicable service warranty provided by the manufacturer.

Warranty terms vary by brand and intervention performed. Details of any applicable service warranty will be provided upon completion of the service.

Will original parts be returned to me?

All replacement parts used during authorized service are supplied directly by the watch manufacturer and installed in accordance with the brand's approved service procedures.

For most Swiss luxury watch brands, replaced components are retained on an exchange basis and therefore cannot be returned to the client. This policy supports the integrity, traceability, and quality control standards across the manufacturer's global after-sales service network.

Any components replaced during an authorized service are collected and managed in accordance with the procedures established by the respective watch manufacturer.

Watch Care & Maintenance

How can I maintain my watch in good condition?

To preserve the performance and appearance of your watch, avoid exposing it to strong magnetic fields, extreme temperatures, chemicals, and unnecessary impacts.

Ensure that water-resistant watches are used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations and have their water resistance checked periodically.

How often should my watch be serviced?

The appropriate service interval depends on your watch, wearing habits, environmental conditions, and the intensity of physical activity you engage in.

As a general guideline, your watch should be serviced whenever a decline in performance, accuracy, power reserve, or functionality is observed. Manufacturer recommendations may vary by brand and model.

Is my watch tested for water resistance during service?

Where applicable and in accordance with brand procedures, water-resistance testing may be performed as part of the service process or as a standalone service. The scope of testing may vary depending on the watch brand and model.

My watch is running fast. What could be causing this?

A watch that suddenly runs fast may have been exposed to a magnetic field. In many cases, a simple demagnetization procedure can resolve the issue.

If the condition persists, a technical assessment may be required to determine whether a service is necessary.

Can a shock or impact affect my watch?

Yes. Mechanical watches contain precision components that may be affected by impacts or strong shocks. Such events can influence timekeeping performance, movement operation, water resistance, or other watch functions.

Damage resulting from accidental impacts is generally not covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

Are there any precautions when setting the date on my watch?

Yes. To avoid damaging the date mechanism, we recommend not manually adjusting the date between approximately 9:00 PM and 3:00 AM. During this period, the watch's date-change mechanism may already be engaged.

Attempting to change the date during this time can place unnecessary stress on the movement and, in some cases, may damage components of the calendar mechanism.

If you are unsure whether your watch is within this period, first advance the time beyond 6:00 AM before adjusting the date.

Should I manually wind my automatic watch?

Yes. Although automatic watches are designed to be wound by the natural motion of the wrist, manual winding is recommended when the watch has stopped or when it is worn infrequently.

For individuals with a more sedentary lifestyle or limited wrist movement, a manual "top-up" wind of approximately 20–30 turns of the crown can help maintain sufficient power reserve and support accurate timekeeping.

Please refer to your watch manufacturer's instructions, as winding recommendations may vary by model.
